About
Thread Witness reads what people report about a product in public and turns it into a cited weekly report: issues and feature requests with IDs that stay the same from week to week, unique reporter counts, workarounds with counts of who said they worked, and timelines read against releases. Every quote and citation is checked before a report is released.
Why we built this
Users often describe a problem in public, with the exact error text and the steps that triggered it, sometimes before it shows up in support tickets. Administrators trade workarounds and say which ones held. That information is scattered across forums, issue trackers and help centers, and it rarely reaches the people who assign engineering work in a form they can check. Thread Witness collects it, counts it and links every statement to its source, so a team can verify the report rather than trust it.
Early access
Thread Witness is in early access. Reading public sources runs today. Classification, extraction, merging, scoring, report writing and the verifier are built and in testing. Alerts and ticket sync are built and being prepared for production, and the dashboard is in development. Early-access customers will receive reports and readouts directly. The usual first step is a Community Issue Audit.
How we work
Public data only, a recorded basis for reading every source, pseudonymized authors, short linked quotes, and every correction request acknowledged within 48 hours. Counts measure public discussion, not failure rates. We publish no vendor rankings or scorecards. How we source data
